The food was great in the cellar. The fried green tomatoes were very good. The French Onion soup with brisket was very tasty. The kids liked the brick oven pizza. The New York strip was cooked properly. The sauce was excellent. The bacon fat french fries were very good. The food is expensive.

We were greeted by the manager or the owner upon arrival. We had plans to sit outside on the roof but the weather was not permitting. So we wound up in the wine cellar. The ambiance was great and it added to the dining experience. We celebrated my Aunts 70th birthday and my cousins 23rd wedding anniversary. Being in a Chef from out of state I tried to sought after the best restaurant in Abington. Well I successfully found it! Once the server was made aware of our special celebration they brought us complimentary champagne. The food was spectacular and the service matched. Jule took really good care of us. At the end of the meal they sent out some complimentary deserts. The chocolate mousse was to die for! I will definitely be back the next time I visit.

Absolutely loved our dinner at Summers Roof & Cellar. The drinks were fabulous, our waiter Stephen was attentive and helped us make the delicious dinner choices- the ribeye was killer and the pork was the best!! The atmosphere was beautiful and the rooftop outdoors under the stars- enchanting. Our only complaint was the time it took for our food to come from the kitchen. But...the taste far outweighed the wait. It reminded us that we all need to slow down and enjoy the moments. Cannot wait to come back.

Honestly, I'm not quite sure where to start. My wife and I had a date night in the Cellar several weeks ago. I had the pork chop with an old fashioned, and my wife had the burger and a cosmopolitan. The cocktails were basic but executed flawlessly. The food...[pause for dramatic effect]...completely knocked our socks off! It is undoubtedly one of the best dinners we have ever had. After cleaning our plates--completely stuffed and yearning for more--we asked our waiter for dessert to-go. He politely explained that dessert could not be provided to-go as it would diminish the quality of the dish. Obviously, since he provided us with every delicious, chocolatey detail of the dessert, we had no choice but to proceed with ordering it--ignoring entirely our overflowing stomachs. Foregoing that dessert would have been one of the greatest mistakes of our life as it could only be described as divine.

We ate outside on the rooftop. We had reservations for inside but it was too loud, which is why only 4 stars for atmosphere. The service was excellent. We really enjoyed our table overlooking the town and mountains. I had the filet and my wife had the pork chops. Both were really good. They have an extensive wine list. There are not a lot of tables so I recommend you make reservations.

Stopped here while traveling on a holiday weekend. Food, service, and drinks were excellent. Will definitely be stopping by anytime we come through Abingdon! The rooftop was great. We didn't get to checkout the cellar though. Can't wait to stop by again.

Don’t go to this place, if you don’t want good food. My friend and I have been wanting to go this place for the longest time. So, today we did!!! For appetizer, we ordered “BREAD & Butter”and “WHOLE LEAF CAESAR”. The butter was sweet, the bread was soft and crispy on the outside and the Caesar salad was immaculate. It was just a perfect combo. For entrees, we had “PAN CEARED SALMON”, “RIBEYE STEAK FRITES”, and “CHICKEN AND WAFFLE”. The salmon and steak were cooked to perfection and chicken/waffle was the best ever. The reason i say that is because the chicken was not too thick, it was perfectly cooked through and through. The whole experience was amazing. Lastly, we accidentally booked for next Tuesday not realizing and when we went to dine-in, they didn’t just ignore us and told us we cannot do anything. Instead, they accommodated us and welcomed us with smiles. Highly recommend this place!!!
